Can I download a TikTok video as MP4 without logging in?
Yes. A public video link is enough to save an MP4 on the web or in the apps.
Can I save only the sound as MP3?
Yes. TikTokView extracts the audio from the video as MP3. Photo posts can save their sound as MP3 too.
Do private videos work?
No. Only public posts are supported. Private, friends-only, and deleted videos cannot be downloaded.
Is the download without a watermark?
A no-watermark public stream is preferred. If TikTok does not offer one, the saved file can still show a watermark.
Is TikTokView free?
Yes. It is free and does not require an account.
Which links work?
tiktok.com video and photo URLs, plus vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com short links.
Is downloading allowed?
Personal offline viewing is the intended use. Copyright stays with the creator. Do not redistribute or use the file commercially.
Where is the file saved?
On the web, in your browser downloads. On Android, videos go to the gallery and MP3 files to Downloads. On iOS, videos go to Photos and MP3 files to the Files app.
Can I pick the highest quality?
You can choose among the H.264 and HD H.265 files TikTok publishes for that video.
What about photo posts?
Photo posts save as images. Their sound can be saved separately as MP3.
Does the MP3 include voices in the video?
Yes. The MP3 is the audio of the video, including voice and music.
What bitrate is the MP3?
Files are converted to 192 kbps MP3. They are not upscaled past the source.
Is every download watermark-free?
No. If TikTok does not provide a clean stream, the saved file can still include the watermark.
Can you remove a watermark from a private video?
No. Only public posts are supported, and watermark removal is not guaranteed.
What if there are several photos?
They are listed so you can save the ones you want.
Can I keep the slideshow music?
Yes. The sound attached to the post can be saved as MP3.
Do I need a Shortcut?
No. The link is enough.
The video is not in Photos?
In Safari, check Downloads. In the app, allow photo library access.
Is the watermark always removed?
A public no-watermark stream is preferred, but the mark can remain if TikTok does not offer one.
Can I use a browser only?
Yes. Chrome can save the same link.
Which album is used?
Videos are saved in an album named TikTokView.
Is it only the music?
No. The MP3 is the sound you hear in the video.
Do photo posts work?
If the post has a sound, that sound can be saved as MP3.
Does conversion take long?
It can take a little while, depending on the length of the video.
Is it always removed?
No. A missing clean file is not invented.
Do you edit the logo out?
No. The picture is not redrawn to erase a logo.
What about friends-only videos?
They are not supported.
